Harry Lindsey Hogsed

Harry Lindsey Hogsed, 82, of Brevard, passed away on August 4, 2024. A native of Transylvania County, he was the son of the late Jeff and Mary Masters Hogsed. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his infant sister, Claudia Joan.

A lifelong resident of Transylvania County, he was a graduate of Rosman High School. He worked for American Thread for over 14 years before going to work for DuPont where he worked 29 years be fore retiring. He enjoyed gardening, but his passion was collecting model trains.

He is survived by his brother, Larry Hogsed and his sister Dianne Hogsed.

Funeral Services for Harry Hogsed will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 8, 2024 in the chapel of Moore-Blanchard Funerals & Cremations in Brevard. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.
