Helen Summers Braswell

Brevard-Helen Summers Braswell, 79, of Brevard, NC went home to be with the Lord Monday, September 6, 2010 at Transylvania Regional Hospital surrounded in love by her family. She was born in Pocahontas, VA on March 23, 1931 to the late Oner and Annie Holliman. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harold C. Summers and Billy Joe Braswell and a son Danny G. Summers.

She was a southern Baptist and attended church many years ago in Atlanta, Georgia when her health permitted.

She is survived by her children; Carol Hubbard of Jasper, Ga., Sherry Summers of Atlanta, Ga., Harold David and wife Brenda Summers of Lake Toxaway, NC, Beverly and husband Dana McCrary of Atlanta, Ga. and Gneita Casey of Gainseville, Ga., one sister; Linda Rehling of Chesapeake, VA. Also surviving are many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
