Helen V. Fullbright, 92, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at St. Leonard's Retirement Home in Centerville, Ohio. She was born in Brevard, North Carolina on March 1, 1922 to W. Perry Fullbright and Lula Glazener Fullbright and was the sixth of seven children. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Vernon, Earl, and Wayne and sisters Opal, Lucy and Margaret, as well as nieces Susan Myers and Marcie Fullbright.
Helen was a graduate of Brevard High School and Brevard College. She loved to read and was an avid bridge player her entire life. Helen was employed by Ecusta (Olin) and retired in 1985 after 45 years of service. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Brevard.
Helen is survived by niece Pamela (Peter) Julian, great-nephews Paul Julian and Matthew Chandler and great-great nephew Carter Julian along with Matthew's father Mark Chandler.
There will be a graveside service at 1 P.M. on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Gillespie-Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Crocker officiating.
Helen's family would like to express gratitude to the staff of St. Leonard's for their loving care and kindness.
