H. P. Morgan

H. P. Morgan, 80, of Lake Toxaway, NC, died Saturday, December 19, 2020. H.P. was born in Transylvania County, NC, the son of the late Harvey Posey and Gracie Miller Morgan. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death his brothers and sisters Mary Ruth Owen, Alfred Morgan, Johnny Morgan, Bessie Galloway, Robert Morgan and Bertie Morgan.

H. P. was a simple but very talented man. He enjoyed building furniture and wood carving. He also greatly enjoyed being outdoors, walking or hiking in Pisgah National Forest.

His loving survivors include his wife of 56 years, Elvina Morgan; their children Evelyn Ann Murray (Danny) of Rutherfordton, NC and Christina Saltz (Robert) of Lake Toxaway;  grandchildren Kara Saltz, Kalif Saltz, Bo Burleson, Adam Burleson, Drake Burleson, Morgan Polly, Christa Burleson and Brandon Burleson; great-grandson Leland Burleson; and sisters Lottie McCall, Vera Morgan and Frances Morgan.
