Obituary for James A. "Jim" Judge
James Arthur (Jim) Judge died peacefully on January 6, 2015 in Brevard, North Carolina. He is survived by sons, James Arthur Judge II and wife Patricia, Thomas Frederick Judge and wife Susan and daughter Rebecca Lee Kissack and husband David along with 6 grandchildren. He was predeceased in death by wife, Flora Lee Judge and daughter Deborah Jean Ambroselli. Jim served proudly in the United States Navy in WW II and fought in numerous battles including the battle of Leyte Gulf. He also served in Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was very proud of his service aboard the multiple PT Boats. Jim was born in North Irwin, Pennsylvania and moved to Pompano Beach in 1962 with his family where he was employed for over 30 years as a Funeral Director with R.J. Kraeer Funeral Home. Jim moved to Lake Toxaway, North Carolina in 2000 and remained there until his passing. Jim belonged to many organizations including the Lions Eye Bank, he was a Master Mason at the North Broward Masonic Lodge and was also a member of the Pompano Shriners Club.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 10 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Kraeer Funeral Home Pompano Beach Chapel followed by a Noon Graveside Service at Pompano Beach City Cemetery. A Celebration of Jim's life will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Lake Toxaway United Methodist Church with Rev. Marcus Dodson officiating.
