James B. "Jim" Phillips

James B. Phillips, 90, of Pisgah Forest, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023. A native of Jackson County, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Rufus Daniel and Burlie Long Phillips.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Marilyn Phillips, and their son Jimmy Phillips.

His survivors include his daughter, Vicki Phillips; grandchildren: Jessy Whited (Nate), Graham Phillips and Courtney Phillips (Aaron White); great-grandchildren: Jeshua Whited, Brawley Whited, Jaxlyn White and Ezekiel White; and daughter-in-law Gail Phillips.

Graveside services will be private.
