Brevard- Jane Theresa Bell, 86, passed away Wednesday, March 5,, 2008 at The Oaks, Brevard.

Jane Bell was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut and was the daughter of the late Bruce and Mae Zaleski. She was also preceded in death by her husband Joseph Bell.

Mrs. Bell was active in square dancing and swimming. She loved animals.

She enjoyed traveling and she was a gourmet cook. Jane was gifted in many ways.

Survivors include two sisters, Bonnie Melita and husband, Deacon Joseph of Redding, Connecticut, and Margaret DuQuette of Bridgeport, Connecticut and special care giver, Joyce Galloway of Brevard, North Carolina.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at St. Michael's Cemetery, Bridgeport, Connecticut with Deacon Joseph Melita officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Transylvania County Humane Society, 105 E. Main Street, Brevard, NC 28712.
