Janet Guinot

Janet Patricia Guinot, 66 of Greenville, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020. Born in Flint, Michigan, she was the daughter of Patricia N. Garner and the late Robert J. Newton. In addition to her father she was also preceded in death by her aunts Margaret H. Calvert and Alice H. Hemphill.

A former Operating Room Nurse, she enjoyed traveling, history and museums. She also loved cooking for social groups as well as crocheting, knitting, reading and painting. She also loved to dote on her nieces and nephews.

Her survivors include her mother, Patricia Garner of Brevard; sisters Marcia N. Bourne, Virginia N. Cook, Mary C. Newton and Julia N. Graham; nieces and nephews: Bob cook, Shannon Loschky, Julia Yvon, Al Cook, Angela Marko and Carolina Graham; great-nieces and nephews: Jerome Gibson, Claudia Yvon, Walter and Stephen Loschky, Julius, Margo and and Merlin Cook.
