Jean White

Jean Cochran White, 83, of Pisgah Forest, NC died September 23, 2020 at Kingsbridge House in Brevard, NC.  She was a daughter of the late Clarence Edward and Hazel Sitton Cochran.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Syd White who died in 2006, a daughter Cindy White Parker who died in 2017, two brothers, Steve Cochran and Louis Cochran, and two sisters, Marie Spaugh and Kay Evans.

Jean was a long time and very active member of Blantyre Baptist Church. She graduated from Brevard High School in 1955.  She worked for Cochran Construction for many years.

She is survived by a daughter, Donna White of Pisgah Forest, NC, a grandson, Matthew Parker a granddaughter, Mandi Maskell and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Jean White will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory with the Rev. Ron Nelson officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Elizabeth House at Four Seasons Compassion for Life, 571 South Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC  28731.
