Our beloved Jeremy passed away with family and friends close by on November 9, 2022 in his adopted home of Kauai, Hawaii. He was just 41.
He leaves his beloved wife, Hali, his sister Becky, uncles and aunts, so many friends, and a heartbroken Mom and Dad, Michael and Barbara.
He was diagnosed with cancer 18 months ago and went through many treatments, but eventually succumbed to the disease.
The picture shows him captaining his favorite Boston Whaler in January 2022.
Jeremy suffered with Hodgkin’s disease when he was 20 and a few years later underwent a successful stem cell transplant, providing him with a further twenty years of life.
He moved to Hawaii and to the island of Kauai, a lifestyle and culture he loved, such as walking the beach with his faithful dog, Reggie. Now they are reunited.
He met his lovely wife Hali 10 years ago and they had a beautiful wedding in 2017, and built a special home together just last year. Hali was devoted to him and cared for him, with his mother, lovingly until the end.
We are so grateful for the 41 years we spent with him. He lived life to the fullest and was always on some adventure. We will so miss those phone calls about his next escapade.
We have had so many messages from friends who loved Jeremy, school friends, their parents, prom dates, friends from camp, college friends, lacrosse & football teammates, work colleagues. Universally they remember his smile and warmth and how he touched their hearts. This gives us great comfort to know he was loved by so many, across the world.
An Hawaiian ‘paddle out’ will be held May 27, 2023 on Hanalei Bay, Hawaii.
Donations in his memory can be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
Always in our hearts.
