Joan Marie Dodd, 80, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Transylvania Regional Hospital.



She was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late William and Mary Goshue Gosse. She was also preceded in death by her brother William Gosse.



Joan was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a dedicated nurse for Transylvania Regional Hospital for years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.



She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, John Thomas Dodd; her son John Dodd and wife Dale of MD; her daughters, Mary Smillie of Neenah, WI, Ann Dodd of Oshkosh, WI, Joan Schwant and husband Steve of Neenah, WI; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.



A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00PM in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Services on Saturday, August 11, 2012.
