Joan Uhler

Joan Kzudzal Uhler, 81, of Brevard NC passed away on Friday, August 2, 2019 at Transylvania Regional Hospital.  A native of New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late John Adam and Katherine Keilian Kuzdzal.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters. Florence Szawaryn and Adele Szeszko.

She was a Member of St. Timothy United Methodist Church where she was also a member of the prayer group.  She enjoyed volunteering with Transylvania Regional Hospital Auxiliary and Friends of the Library.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Gerald Elwood Uhler, one daughter, Christine Miller (Blaine) of Arden, NC , one son, David Uhler of Raleigh, NC, one sister, Helen Lagoda, three grandchildren, Joshua Heath, Evan Miller, Bethany Miller and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on August 10, 2019 at St. Timothy United Methodist Church with Rev. Parker Haynes officiating.
