John Meikle (Jack) Collins, 83, of Hendersonville, NC passed away, Tuesday, December 4, 2012.

Jack is survived by his beautiful wife Ruth J. Collins, one son, one daughter, two step sons, two step daughters as well as many grandchildren.

Jack served in the U.S. Army and was retired from Barrington Savings and loan where he served as Vice-President. He also retired as Executive Director of the Miss Illinois Pageant, as well as a past member of the Illinois Jaycees.

At his request, there will be no services.
