John Mcgee

Lt. Col. John Francis McGee, Jr. 81, of Pisgah Forest, NC died, Tuesday, April 8, 2013 at his residence.
He was born April 12, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY to the Late John Francis McGee, Sr. and Jean Boreddi McGee. He was preceded in death by a son; Kevin McGee and a daughter; Jean Elizabeth McGee.
John was a graduate of the University of Miami and attended University of Texas where he studied for his PhD in Government.
He was a veteran serving with the US Air Force and retired as Lt. Colonel. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Air Force Association and Military Officers Association of America.
John is survived by his wife of 23 years Judy McGee, one daughter; Laura Elizabeth McGee of Raleigh, NC, two step-sons; Barry Noret and wife Kellye of Austin, TX, and Jamie Noret and Mark Pro of San Antonio, TX, and one sister; Jeanne Hughes of Dallas, TX.
Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors.
