John F. Seidlitz

Brevard - John F. Seidlitz, 90, of Brevard, NC died Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Transylvania Regional Hospital, Brevard, NC.

A native of Cleveland, Ohio, he was a son of the late Rudolph and Ida Garr Seidlitz. He was preceded in death by his wife Erlein Seidlitz, who died in 2003 and a daughter Barbara Hyatte, who died in 2008.

Mr. Seidlitz was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Brevard, NC. He served in the Army during WWII, and worked for NASA retiring after 30 years as a machinist
Survivors include his son; Bill Seidlitz of Tyler, TX., a brother; George Seidlitz of Cleveland, Ohio, a good friend; Connie MacLellan of Brevard, four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, February 20, 2010 at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd the Rev. Richard Handschin officiating.
