Brevard - Joyce Abrams Thomas, 77, of Brevard died on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at The Oaks of Brevard.

She was a daughter of the late Leonard Wilson Abrams and Lita Dunbar Abrams. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Leonard A. Abrams.
Joyce loved the Lord and spent her time studying his word.

Surviving are her two sons, Clay W. Thomas of Brevard, NC, Cliff E. Thomas of Atlanta, Ga. and one daughter, Cindy Thomas Bryson and husband Jim of Brevard, NC, one sister, Helen Browning of Havana, Fl., eight grandchildren, Wendy Thomas, Ashton Brice, Destiny Owen, Josh Thomas, Cory Thomas, Kyle Thomas, Jeremy Bryson and Kenny Bryson, four great grandchildren, Trista and Carter Bryson, Daniel and Joseph Bryson and numerous nieces and nephews.

The graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Dunn's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Chuck Campbell officiating.
