Julie Herbster

Julie A Herbster, 39, went to be with her Savior on Monday, March 25, 2013, after being diagnosed with colon cancer 10 months earlier. She was a member of Bethany Bible Church of Hendersonville, NC.
Julie was born October 4, 1973 in Independence, MO to Daniel and Gladys Setchfield. She graduated in 1991 from Tri-City Christian High School in Independence, MO. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Bob Jones University in 1995.
In May of 1995, Julie married her high school sweetheart, Matt Herbster. In their 17 years of marriage, God blessed them with five children - Sarah (14), Nathan (13), Abigail (10), Anne Marie (8) and Jonathan (7). Julie home schooled all her children and coached them diligently in their piano and string practicing. Julie was a humble and kind homemaker who always had serving others as her goal.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 29, 2013, from 5-7 pm at the Wilds Christian Camp - 1000 Wilds Ridge Rd, Brevard, NC.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 30, 2013, at the same location. Pastor Greg Stiekes of Bethany Bible Church, Hendersonville, NC will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family has set up the Julie Herbster Memorial Fund to help with present and future family needs.
