Julie Pagano

Julie Selman Pagano. 64, of Brevard, NC passed away on May 25, 2011 surrounded by her loving family.

Julie was born in Rome, GA on March 10, 1947 to the late Glenn Selman and Wanda Baker Selman. Julie was a wonderful mother, loving daughter, sister, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her and loving her.

She grew up in Rockmart, GA and attended the University of Georgia in Athens where she was the member of the Kappa Delta sorority. She was an aesthetician at Elements Spa in Brevard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Pagano and is survived by her daughter, Eve Walters, son, Glenn Pagano, grandchildren, Erica Walters, Juliana Walters, Sean Thomas Walters and Matthew Vizachero, her sister Glenda Selman, nephew Chuck Breithaupt, neice Julie Speyer, friend Judith Jenkins and caregiver, Tracey Driscoll and many other friends and relatives.

Julie fought a long, courageous battle with lung cancer for four years and was incredibly brave until the very end. Her memory will always be a comfort to the ones left behind. Julie was an angel here on earth and has joined God's angels in heaven.

A celebration of Julie's life will be held at a later date.
