Kathleen Smith

Kathleen "Kay" Smith, 93 of Brevard, passed away on July 18, 2014. A native of Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Catherine McCarthy Anderson. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Thomas Robert Smith and her sister Phoebe Collins.

She lived the life of a truly faith-filled woman.

Loving survivors she leaves behind include her sons Robert "Bob" Smith, David Smith and wife Cathie, and Michael Smith; daughters Patricia Shaw and husband Robert, and Kathy Felipe and husband Roy; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The Funeral Mass for Kay Smith will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Andrew Nowak officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Transylvania Hospice, 1266 Asheville Hwy., Suite #5, Brevard, NC 28712.
