Kathryn Clark Mccrary

Kathryn "Pat" Ruth Clark McCrary, 80, of Brevard, NC passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at The Oaks of Brevard.

She was born in Ceasar's Head, SC to the late Clyde and Aileen Stewart Clark. She was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Clark Melton.

Pat love teaching. She taught 3rd thru 6th grade at Brevard Elementary School retiring after 23 years. She also loved spending time with her family and being outside working in her yard. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and sister; and she will be missed.

Survivors include; two sons: Tom McCrary, Jr. and wife Pat of Brevard, NC, and Alan Clark McCrary and wife Catherine of Hickory, NC; one daughter: Kathryn Guffey and husband Charles of Cedar Mountain, NC, one granddaughter: Caitlyn Danielle McCrary, two sisters: Jean Clark McCrary of Brevard, NC and Joan Clark McCrary of Fairview, NC, one niece: Lisa Melton Collier and one nephew: Clark Patrick McCrary.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, October 18, 2013 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Steve Cooke officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, 1:00PM-2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
