Kline Sentelle

Kline Hoover Sentelle, 93, of Pisgah Forest, NC passed away January 26, 2022, at Transylvania Regional Hospital after a brief illness.  He was a son of the late Jethro and Tunia Frances Burns Sentelle.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Infant J.C. Sentelle, Thelma Merrill, Eva Rogers, Frazier Sentelle, Faye Simms, Orville Sentelle, Charles Sentelle and Kline's wife Esther Allison Sentelle..

A native of Transylvania County Kline lived and worked in both Transylvania and Henderson County, working both at Olin Matheson for several years and also as a carpenter in the area.  Kline was a veteran, serving in the US Army from 1950-1952.  Kline was a Christian and a strong supporter of Pisgah Forest Baptist Church, attending as long as he was able.

He is survived by a stepdaughter, Ilene Allison, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Kline will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 31, 2022, at Pisgah Forest Baptist Church with Rev. David Spray officiating.  Burial will follow at Boyleston Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Rites provided by the North Carolina National Guard and the Transylvania County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from noon until 1:00 pm at the church.
