Langdon Seely

Langdon Leigh Seely, 81, of Brevard, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022.  A Transylvania County native, he was the son of the late Theodore S. and Jean English Seely. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Robert Seely.

Mr. Seely was a graduate of Western Carolina University. A man with a big heart, he loved helping friends and others that he would meet, often generous to a fault. He enjoyed tennis and golf and working in the outdoors. He was also a history buff, particularly of the World War II era of his childhood. But his great passion was his art, his ability draw, and sketch people and places around him.

His survivors include his nieces, Rebecca Morgan (Michael) of Grand Saline, Texas and Robin Long (Doug) of Red Oak, Texas.

Graveside Services for Mr. Seely will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 25, 2022, at Blue Ridge Gardens of memory in Pisgah Forest.
