Larry Welyczko

Larry Alec Welyczko, 67, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2012 at his residence.



A native of Transylvania County, he was a son of the late Miroslav Welyczko and Ruby Banther Welyczko Chapman. He was also  preceded in death by two brothers, George and Dock "Brother"  Welyczko.



Larry graduated from Rosman High School and A-B Tech Community College. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, the Moose Lodge, the VFW, the American Legion and the WNC Officials Association.



He is survived by his son, George Brent Welyczko; his sister, Anela McMahan; his grandchildren, Reno, Alec, Braedon, and Brent Welyczko; a niece and nephew , Caitlin  and Alex McMahan.



A private Memorial Service will be held.



In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to PNC Bank, c/o Welyczko grandchildren college fund,  90 S. Caldwell Street, Brevard, NC 28712.
