Larry Wilson

Larry J. Wilson, 53, Lake Toxaway, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2014. He was born in Orange County, Florida to Kenneth and Laura Weatherston Wilson. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Hannah Weatherston and Lillian Linberg.

"Daddy" was the strongest, yet most tender-hearted man we have ever known. His character demonstrated his faith in God. He was loved by many and will always remain in their hearts.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife of 33 years, Robin Wilson; daughters Sophia Reid and husband Marty, Katrina Osbourn and husband Jeffery; son Shawn Wilson; grandchildren Jolie Reid, Cleo Reid and Violet Osbourn; sisters Debbie Myers and husband Ray, Patty Shelton and husband Welch; brothers Kerry Wilson and wife Grace, and Terry Wilson and wife Revonda; and 12 nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Wilson will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, November 2, 2014 at The Pentecostal Lighthouse Church in Rosman with Rev. Charles Nichols, Rev. Marty Reid, Rev. Devon Owen and Rev. Tommy Owen officiating. Internment will follow at Mack McCall Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 2-3 PM, one hour prior to the service.

The family would like to thank the friends, neighbors and church family for all of the prayers, support and help over the last year.
