Linda Stevenson

Linda Ann Matheson Stevenson, 76, of Hendersonville, passed away at Transylvania Regional Hospital on November 26, 2016. She was born September 16, 1940 to the late Harold Melvin and Aileen Sanders Matheson.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donny Pennell Stevenson, a son, George Anthony Stevenson and a brother, Terry Matheson.

Linda was a longtime resident of Townville, SC where she attended Townville High School. She was a member of Dickson Memorial United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society.

She is survived by one daughter, Judy Bagwell of Anderson, SC and one son, Donny Ray Stevenson, of Hendersonville, NC, two brothers, Jack Matheson and Tommy Matheson both of Seneca, SC, one grandson, Joshua Bagwell, two nieces and two nephews.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Stevenson will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 12, 2016 at St. Timothy United Methodist Church with Rev. Ann Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at a later date at Dickson Memorial United Methodist Church in Townville, SC.
