Lucy Hubbard

Lucy Mae Miller Hubbard, 90, of Brevard passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Brian Center of Brevard. She was born in Brevard, NC to the late George and Ida Reid Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Hubbard, three children, Marie, Walton and Truman Hubbard, two brothers, Charlie Miller and Sherrill Miller and three sisters, Cannie Miller, Louise McKinney and Charlotte Miller.

She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by those who knew her.

She is survived by two sons, Monroe Hubbard and wife Sarah and Joel Hubbard, one daughter, Patsy Hubbard, one brother, Carl Miller, three sisters, Elizabeth Hamilton, Annie Mcdowell, and Myrtle Gorgon, four granddaughters, Anna Hubbard, Jvonne Hubbard, Kelly Hubbard Smith and Jessica Chapman, one grandson, John Hubbard, eight great grandsons, Matthew and Andy DeMag, Montie and Darren Hubbard, Christian and Justin Smith, Sean White, and Nicholas McKinney, four great granddaughters, Patience White, Faith Fowler, Audrina and Adaleigh Chapman, one great-great- grandson, Leland DeMag, one great- great-granddaughter, Trinity Galloway.

Funeral Services for Lucy Hubbard will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, July 31, 2015 at Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Interment will follow at Big Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 -3:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.
