Lynn Hagarty

Lynn Peischel Hagarty, a retired Administrative Assistant of Rolling Hills Girl Scout Council in Branchburg, NJ died Sunday, December 21, 2014, at home, in Brevard, (Connestee Falls) NC. She was born on December 6, 1943.

The daughter of the late Edward and Matilda Meinike Peischel, Lynn is survived by her husband, Joseph Hagarty; two sons; Dean of Lousiville, KY, Karl and his wife, Danielle Kovacs Hagarty, of Tuscon, AZ; two Grandsons, George and David, respectively.

Lynn also leaves two sisters, Marion Burger of Watsonville, CA and Jean Hagel of Cochecton, NY; cousins, Patricia Maloney Scharfenberger; ;and her husband, Peter Scharfenberger of Garden City, NY; and Jim & Kay Peischel of New Paltz, NY.

"When I die let our family and friends know that "performing a random act of kindness" would be a wonderful way to honor me. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice."

Dearest Lynn,
Thank you for 48 years of a wonderful life, two marvelous children, having great personal values, and a positive attitude towards their work and families.
Your good humor and perseverance have helped to keep me on course. Even in these last years, you always caught me off-guard with the smile on your face as you delivered the punch line of a joke.
No one could ask for a better wife, mother and companion; as well as a fabulous in-law family.
I will follow your advice: "Be upbeat and do the best I can do for the rest of my life." I love you!
