Maggie M. Holden, 84, of Rosman, passed away on November 17, 2024. A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Juston and Bessie Aiken Morgan. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her late husbands, Ralph Pressley and J. B. Holden; her sisters Nettie Bell, Nellie Bell, and Peggy Searcy and her brother, Ernest Morgan.

A member of Cathey’s Creek Baptist Church, she was a great, hard-working woman who did not shy away from hard work as she worked primarily for Coats American and MB Industries over the years. 

She loved her family dearly, and her family loved her.

Her loving survivors include her daughters: Carolyn Powell (Harry), Helen Aiken (J.W.) and Marie McCarson (Jim); her grandchildren: Stephanie Breedlove (Eric), Jeremy Aiken (Kristy), Jessica McCall (Jonathon), Josh Henderson, Lee, Cassie and Skye McCarson, Kim Gerringer (Kip), Josh Breedlove and Travis Breedlove; great-grandchildren: Jeffrey Breedlove, Erica Breedlove, Madison Aiken, Jackson Aiken, Makayla Aiken, Sophie Gerringer, Walker McCall and Brooke McCall; great-great-grandchildren: Sawyer, Samuel and Saga Owens, Able and Aiden Hicks; and her brother, Charles Morgan.

A graveside-service for Maggie Holden will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 22, 2024 at Cathey’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tony Lambert officiating.
