Margie Volrath

Margie Louise Volrath, 73, of Brevard, NC passed away December 31, 2014 at Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation. A native of Transylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Wilco "Bill" Lance and Margaret Davis Collins. She was also preceded in death by her husband Frank James Volrath and one daughter and one son.
Margie loved spending time with her grandchildren, listening to music and dancing.
Margie is survived by her two daughters: Rebecca Huff and husband Paul of Pisgah Forest, NC, Judy DeMoss and husband Alan of Pisgah Forest, NC, and one son: James "Ricky" Volrath and wife Tammy of Pisgah Forest, NC, four sisters: Vera Harris of Brevard, NC, Brenda Collins of Laurens, SC, Barbara Harris of Pisgah Forest, Shirley Cooper of Brevard, NC, three brothers: Junior and wife Sally Collins of Brevard, NC, Charles Collins of Brevard, NC, Jimmy Collins, of Laurens, SC and seven grandchildren.
A Memorial Service for Margie will be held 3:00 PM, Wednesday, January 7, 2015 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with David DeMoss officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
