Marie Clackum Williamson

Marie Clackum Williamson, 84, of Brevard, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024.

A native of Haralson County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Mabel Stephens Clackum. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Robert J. Williamson and daughter Dana Williamson.

A graduate of McDowell Tech, she was an avid reader who kept up with current events as well as the vast number of mysteries she enjoyed. An Atlanta Braves fan, she would always have their game on during the season. Incredibly smart, she loved gathering information that might someday be useful as she did her countless crossword puzzles.

Her loving survivors include her daughter Karen Henson (Eric); grandchildren Nicole Henson, Zack Henson and Jake Henson; and her brothers Wayne Clackum (Carrie Lee) and Bill Clackum.

Service arrangements will be announced at a later date.
