Marshall Johnson

Marshall Johnson, 75, of Brevard, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017. A native of Transylvania County, he was the son of the late Harry Marshall and Lucille Snelson Johnson.
After serving in the United States Air Force, he worked for DuPont for 27 years prior to his retirement.
His survivors include his wife, Frances Gravely Johnson; his children: Alan Johnson and wife Debi, Becky Franks and husband Beacher, and Janie Hill and husband Gary; his brother Larry Johnson and wife Tammy of Deltona, Florida, sisters Mary Lou Hensley and husband Jackie of Brevard, and Mollie Brown and husband Tom of Brevard' 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service for Marshall Johnson will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Cathey's Creek Baptist Church. Military Rites will be performed by the United States Air Force (Shaw Air Force Base Honor Guard) and the Transylvania County Honor Guard for Veterans. The family will receive friends immediately following the services.
