Marshall Pritchard

Marshall Ray Pritchard, 68, of Mill Spring, NC, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Landrum, SC. A native of Polk County, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Ira and Leona Wilson Pritchard. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son Michael Pritchard.

A U.S. Army veteran, he served his country from 1967 to 1969. He later worked as a market manager for Food Lion for a number of years. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. His family was his greatest priority.

His loving survivors include his wife of 22 years, Karen Bowman Pritchard; sons Gabriel Bowman and wife Reagan of Mill Spring and Nicolas Bowman and wife Nicole of Fort Mill, SC; granddaughter Addison Bowman, sisters Iris Pritchard of Mill Spring and Janette Boone and husband Jerry also of Mill Spring; brothers Troy Pritchard and wife Molly of Virginia, Billy Pritchard and wife Carol of Mill Spring and Randy Pritchard of Mill Spring; and very special niece and nephew Joe and Michelle Micek and their children of Mill Spring.

A graveside service for Marshall Pritchard will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, August 17, 2014 at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory with Rev. Jimmy Ramsey officiating. Military Rites will be conducted by the Honor Guard for Veterans of Transylvania County.
