Martha Mcdermand

Martha McDermand, 91, of Gahanna, Ohio and formerly of Brevard, peacefully passed away August 4, 2013.

She was born to the late Stanley Roberts and Clara Askins Roberts on September 4, 1921, in Eads, Colo. Her husband, Robert W. McDermand and a sister, Velora, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her loving children, Sandy Grimmer, Peggy Kramer, Robert McDermand II, and Jerry McDermand, and their spouses, Richard, Thomas, Ada and Evelyn; grandchildren, Patrick, Erin, Bradley, Mark, Michelle, Sean and Kimberly; and eight great-grandchildren.
She loved being with her family and enjoyed, reading, doing puzzles, gardening and doll collecting. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

Interment was August 15, 2013 at Davidson River Cemetery Extension, Pisgah Forest, NC 28768.
