Mary Laughter Bowling

Mary Laughter Bowling, 75, of Brevard, passed away on July 8, 2024. Born in Pickens County, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Jessie and Georgia Greene Laughter. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Bowling Maybin, grandchildren, Devin Bowling and Cole Quinn; her sisters: Fay Rennecker, Marion Galloway, Chris Shook and Janelle Teal, and her brothers, George Laughter and Brison Laughter. Roger Emory Bowling, her loving husband of almost 57 years her passed away shortly after her.

A life-long caregiver, she worked in home-health as a medical caregiver. She loved animals, especially dogs, and music. She enjoyed spending time with her sisters and was very protective of her family, always wanting the best for them.

Her loving survivors include her children: Tammy Bowling-Weathers and Roger Bowling; grandchildren: Roger Bowling III (Taylor), Evan Bowling, Tony Allen, Ryan Yount, Ashelyn Clifton (David) and Dylan Parnell (Shelby),Bryce Bowling and Jayce Bowling; grandchildren: Jenson Parnell and Derek Clifton; and her sister, Libby Walden.

Joint funeral services for Mary and Roger Bowling will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Enon Baptist Church in Pisgah Forest.
