Mary Burket

Mary Stowe Burket, 84, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, June 14, 2012.



She was the daughter of the late John and Mildred Stowe. She was also preceded in death by her husband; Richard Burket, her daughter in law; Marlene Burket, and her great grand daughter, Hannah Katherine Larsen.



Mary had been a resident of Brevard since 1975. She was a member of the Brevard Wesleyan Church for more than 30 years. She was active in the Christian Women's Club and held many bible studies in her home. She was also a member of the Transylvania Art Guild for many years.



Mary is survived by her three sons; John Burket of Israel, David Burket and wife Alice of New Jersey, Paul Burket and wife Gail of South Carolina; one daughter; Martha Highfill and husband Steve of Arkansas, eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
