Mary Hogsed

Brevard - Mary Louise Galloway Hogsed, 83, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 23, 2009.
A native of Transylvania Co., NC, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Cannie English Galloway and was the wife of the late Jack Hogsed.
Mrs. Hogsed was a member of the Brevard Wesleyan Church and was a volunteer with Transylvania Regional Hospital. She had previously been employed by Duke Power and the Transylvania County Department of Social Services.
Surviving are her son, Michael Hogsed and wife Sharon of Brevard; sisters, Joyce Galloway Lietza of Brevard and Jo Ann Galloway Levine of Arlington, VA; grandchildren, Trevor Hogsed of Brevard, Jessica Pressley and husband Sammy of Brevard; great grandchildren, Colby Hogsed, Drew Pressley, Kaitlyn Pressley, and Megan Pressley; a number of nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 3 pm Sunday at the Brevard Wesleyan Church with the Revs. Morris Davis, Hank Moffitt, and Judy Jennings officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Gardens.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the church.
