Mary Raines

Mary Carolyn Raines, 83, of Brevard, passed away quietly on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Kingsbridge House in Brevard. A native of Macon, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late John and Sudie Bartlett Fleckenstein. She resided most of her life in Alexandria, Virginia before coming to Brevard. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Douglas Filmore Raines, her brother John Fleckenstein, her brother-in-law Calvin Raines, and sister-in-law Louise Raines Moffitt.
Survivors include her sisters-in-law, Jennie Wilde and husband Kadez, and Janette Ziegler and husband Charles, all of Brevard; nieces and nephews Gail Wilde Smith and husband Rostand, Sharon Wilde, Greg Wilde and wife Cindy, Timothy Wilde and wife Ashley, Russell Ziegler and wife Vivian, Van Ziegler, Rhonda Ziegler Brown and husband Kenny, Sandra Ziegler Jones and husband Frank, Ronnie Fleckenstein and wife Teresa. Also surviving are a many great and great-great nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss her greatly.
Funeral Services for Mary Raines will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Moore Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Preslar and Rev. Kadez Wilde officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
