Mary Helen Galloway Williams



Brevard - Mary Helen Galloway Williams, 87, died Saturday, June 14, 2008 at the Oaks, Brevard, NC.

A native of Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Ervin Galloway and Annie Smith Galloway and was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of almost 60 years, Albert M. Williams who died December 24, 2007, her sister, Necia Eason, and her brother, Bud Galloway.

She was a graduate of Brevard High School and Brevard Institute. Mrs. Williams was a well known and popular employee of Patterson's Department Store for over 45 years.

Surviving are her brother, Roy Galloway and wife Margaret of Brevard; nieces, Anita Long and Sandra L. Reid both of Brevard; nephews, Mike Galloway and wife Billa of Brevard, and Dr. A. James Lyday and wife Kit of Easley, SC and; many loving great nieces and nephews.

The graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at Gillespie Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Owen officiating.
