Melinda "Mindy" Hogsed, 48, of Brevard, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2014. A native of Pickens, South Carolina, she was the daughter of Leon and Mary Murphy Hogsed. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jackie Hogsed Muniz.

Melinda is survived by her parents, Leon and Mary Hogsed; brothers Jackie Shannon Hogsed of Brevard and Lonny Mack Hogsed of Cherryfield; several aunts, uncles, nieces nephews and cousins.
