Michael O'Shields

Michael Alexander “Alex” O’Shields, 26, of Brevard, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. Born in Henderson County, he was the son of Kelly O’Shields and the late Stephen Edward O’Shields. In addition to his father he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward O’Shields and Carolyn O’Shields.

Alex loved the outdoors, his job doing tree work, and working on cars and “burning out”. #burnemforalex.  He had a big heart, especially for his family.

His loving survivors include his mother, Kelly O’Shields; his younger twin brother, Eric, and his older brother Blake; his aunts Stephanie O’Shields, Lisa Riddle and Alicia Fisher, Uncle Jimbo Fisher and Uncle Perry Fisher; niece Kinslee O’Shields and nephew Easton O’Shields; grandfather Don Fisher and grandmother Wanda Branch.

Funeral services for Alex O’Shields will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Brevard with Scott Cope and Jake Lowery officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 pm, one hour prior to the service.
