Michael Owen

Michael Owen, 73, of Brevard, passed away on December 25, 2023. Born in Brevard, he was the son of the late Roy Clifford and Vera Gillespie Owen. In addition to his parents, he was followed into death by his wife, Seppie "Yvonne" Owen; and preceded in death by his son, Michael Conrad Owen and Daughter April Vera Nadine Owen.

He was a painter, owning and operating Owen Painting for many years. His love of helping others always put a smile on his face. He loved deep conversations, playing a good game of pool, cooking a mad cake of cornbread and just loving and protecting his whole family unconditionally. 

Survivors include his daughters Beverly Moore and Carrie Lance; grandchildren: Destiny Owen, Logan Trotter, Brittany L. Rice, Talon Owen, Hope Owen, Faith O. Roque and Kaine Moore and several Great-grandchildren whom they adored; several brothers and sisters: Edith O. Parham, Edna O. Hensley, Martha O. Owens, Shirley O. Hutchins, Joan O. Salter, Opal O. Flood, Robert Owen, Charles Owen, Clifton Owen, Randy Owen.

Memorial services for Michael Owen will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 in the chapel of Moore-Blanchard Funerals & Cremations. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until time for the service.
