Michael Conrad Owen

Michael Conrad “C O” Owen, 50, of Brevard, NC passed away June 18, 2021 at his home. He was born November 25, 1970, to Michael and Seppie Clanton Owen.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Columbus New Year Clanton and Sologna Myrtle Whitehead Clanton, paternal grandparents; Roy Clifford Owen and Vera Nadine Gillespie Owen, and a sister; April Vera Nadine Owen Trotter.

Conrad attended Brevard High School. He loved to bowl and be a jokester, making people laugh and see the lighter side of life. Music and dance were important to him as well as his big heart and giving whatever anyone needed.

He is survived by a son; Michael Talon Owen of Charlotte, NC, two sisters; Beverly Kim Owen Moore and Carrie Diane Owen Lance both of Brevard, NC, several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

A Memorial service for Conrad will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 24, 2021, in the Chapel of Moore-Blanchard Funerals & Cremations with Rev. Bobby Owings officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 2:00PM prior to the service.
