Mildred Rakowicz

Mildred "Millie" Rakowicz, 95, of Brevard, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014. She was born June 3, 1918 in Suffolk County, NY to the late Joseph and Bertha Zielniki Droskoski. Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Mitchell Rakowicz, son Scott Rakowicz and five brothers and one sister.

She is survived her son, Stanley M. Rakowicz and wife Barbara of Brevard, three grandchildren, Todd Rakowicz of Brevard and Deanna Laine and husband Dean of Brevard; great-grandson Aaron Laine; and her sister Helen Wolanski of Cutchogue, NY.

The funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Southold, NY with interment to follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
