Nancy Mccardle

Nancy McCardle, 84, of Brevard, passed away on January 28, 2021. A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Bruce and Bonnie Smith Waters. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Bonnie Mae Jacobson, her sisters Margie Stalk, Mae Parris and Dot Phillips and her brothers Paul Waters and Wayne Waters.

She enjoyed doing cross-stitch embroidery and going to the Pisgah Fish Camp, but found her greatest enjoyment in her grandchildren.

Her survivors include her daughter, Erica Bohn (Joe Mazie); grandchildren Emily Tiderington (Michael), Sydney Gray, Briyanni Merrell (Dustin), and Hunter Jacobson; great-grandchildren Brinley Merrell and Olivia Tiderington; and her sister, Kathleen Holden, and her caregiver, Mary Cornett and many nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, no local service is planned at this time.
