Patricia A. Johnson, 79, died Friday, September 16, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

He was born in Miami, FL to the late Owen and Lucy Murphy Carr. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Darrell and Patrick, and a sister, Mary Frances.

Mrs. Johnson was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was very active in the Forest Service. She loved to camp and hike. She truly enjoyed the great outdoors.

Patricia is survived by her husband of 33 years, Jack Johnson; daughters, Rebecca Morgan and husband Glenn of Lake Toxaway and Nina Smith of Lake Toxaway; sons, Ed Cox and wife Terri of Charleston, SC, Rodney Johnson and wife Dorothy and Brad Johnson and wife Sherri of Indiana; 25 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at Oak Grove Baptist Church on Sunday, September 25, 2011, at 11am, at the beginning of church service with the Rev. Steve Boley officiating.
