Paul M. Hogan, 63, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at his residence.



He was born on December 29, 1948  in Beaumont, TX to the late Paul M. Hogan, Sr. He was also preceded in death by his wife Lynn Martin Hogan and his brother Bobby Hogan. .



Paul graduated from South Park High School in Beaumont, TX. He also obtained a degree from Gainsville Jr. College in Landscape Design. He was the owner of Custom Landscape and Design in Brevard. He proudly served his country as a Vietnam Veteran in the US Army.  He was a member  and the former Post Commander of the Brevard American Legion and the Brevard VFW. He also devoted his time as a volunteer with the VA Hospital.



Paul is survived by his mother, Clara M. Arnold and her husband, Arthur of  Beaumont, TX; sisters, Vannie Jones and husband Joe of Sour Lake, TX, Dawn Buffington of McDonough, GA, Kim Christian and husband Doug of Maple Valley, WA, and Robyn Archuleta and husband Ben of Virginia Beach, VA; special friends, Dewey and Peggy Lee of Pisgah Forest and Kathy Theros of Brevard; and many nieces and nephews.



A Memorial Service will be held 11:00am, Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at the VFW Post 4309 in Brevard.



In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VFW Post 4309, 50 Veterans Circle, Brevard, NC 28712, the American Legion Post 88, PO Box 1151, Brevard, NC 28712  or the Rathbun Center, 121 Sherwood Rd, Asheville, NC 28801.
