Pearl Arnold

Pearl Perry Arnold, 80, of Brevard, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017. A native of Chowan County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Alphus Lloyd and Ethel Smith Perry. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, J.L. Perry, and her sister, Anne Wright.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. A member of Christ Covenant Church, she loved her church family as well. Her flower garden in full bloom and any family gathering brought much delight to her heart.
Her loving survivors include her caregiver and husband of 64 years, Thomas Arnold, Jr., her children: Thomas Arnold III and wife Fran of Brevard, Peter Arnold of Pisgah Forest, Wanda Bryson of Pisgah Forest, and Cheryl Eakes and husband Kirk of Hendersonville; her granddaughter Abigail Arnold who was the sunshine of her life; and sisters Ethel Marie Rayle and husband Bob of Greensboro, NC and Gail Duncan and husband Mike of Greensboro.

A memorial service for Pearl Arnold with be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Christ Covenant Church in Brevard with Rev. Forest Jones officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Care Partners Hospice at 1266 Asheville Highway Suite 5, Brevard, NC 28712 or Christ Covenant missions, 48 Tip Top Road, Breavrd, NC 28712.
