Pearl Elizabeth "Bibby" Camp

Mrs. Pearl E. “Bibby” Camp, 93, of Brevard, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024. A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late William Brooks and Pearl Ballard Robinson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Garfield Camp, Jr., her siblings: Judy, William, twins Max and Maxine, and Shirley; and her former husband Garfield Camp, Sr.

She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved to take care of others. She enjoyed doing Bible and crossword puzzles. Prior to her passing she was the oldest of Bethel Baptist Church in Brevard where she loved going to church and sharing with her church family.

Her greatest joys came from caring for her family. Her loving survivors include her children: Kenneth Camp (Dawn), Ronald Ballard (Sue), Cynthia Burton (Ronald), and Tracy Camp; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren as well as her sister, Gwynn Turner.

After a private burial, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
