Ralph Alexander

Hendersonville
Ralph Austin Alexander, 72, of Hendersonville, NC went to be with his father, April 24, 2009 at his residence. He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Tabor who died in 2006.
He was a son of the late Ralph and Edna McCall Alexander. Survivors include: One brother, Lane Thomas of Hendersonville, one sister Glenda Wright of Horse Shoe, NC, several nieces and nephews.
He attended Oak Grove Baptist Church, Quebec. Austin was a talented musician and enjoyed playing piano and harmonica for his friends.
He retired from the Merchant Marines after over 30 years of service.
The family will receive friends Thursday, April 30, 2009 at Moore Funeral Home from 1:00 PM -1:45 PM with Burial to follow at 2:00 PM at Oak Grove Cemetery, Quebec with Rev. Tommy Owen officiating.
