Ralph Cantrell

Ralph Franklin Cantrell, 80, of Brevard, NC, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at The Oaks of Brevard, NC.

He was a son of the late Ulus L. Cantrell and Dollie A. Lance. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Joy Cantrell, a daughter, Deatrice Cantrell, four brothers, Leeman, Joe , Lee Roy and Jerry Cantrell, four sisters, Mary Cantrell, Dorothy Cantrell, Dola Patterson and Patsy Upright.

Ralph retired from the North Carolina Highway Department.

He is survived by five sons, Christopher Cantrell, Sr., Patrick Cantrell, Stanley Cantrell, Phillip Cantrell and Alan Gravely, one brother, Tommy Cantrell and wife Brenda of Brevard, NC, two sisters, Lois Galloway of Rosman, NC and Betty Mosley of Hendersonville, NC, 15 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the home of Tommy and Brenda Cantrell on Saturday, April 20, 2013 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
